The next few weeks will be filled with activities to get our house ready to sell. I'm taking advantage of this Tackle it Tuesday meme to get organized and get things done.
We all know how important curb appeal is to a potential buyer . . . . so can you tell what's missing from this otherwise beautiful entrance to our home? By the way, my handy husband is responsible for the fancy trim and the pretty light fixture.
Yes, it might be a little difficult to sell a home that doesn't have street numbers. Also, if you look closely you will notice we don't have a doorbell. The mailbox is crooked, and I need to find a plant for the very lonely, empty plant stand.
I need to find a handyman to take care of this little issue. It is a marital compromise gone wrong.
I'm pretty sure this fan isn't appropriate for a dining room so it needs to be removed.

I don't know about the fan but I love how you have your pictures arranged on the wall.
Please ignore the popup on my blog it only shows up the first time you visit. Sorry.

Hope you can get it all done and get a great price for your home.
Good luck getting your house sold! We don't have a doorbell either. I didn't know that was a big selling point. Ugh... that just got added to the list of hundreds of things that we will have to do before ever trying to sell our home.
Good luck with selling your home. This is a great idea for a tackle. I had no idea a doorbell was a selling point, thanks for sharing!
I think a plant would really help, for sure! I hope you are able to sell your house quickly!
We are also trying to get ready to sell in the near future. It's a lot of work!!

Good luck selling your home!
Did you find a house to buy yet?
I'm sending you good house-selling vibes! ;)
Great tackle. Good luck! Been working in the sunflower garden myself. Come see!

Um, you could duct tape the mailbox, glue on a doorbell, put some classy fabric on velcro on the boo-boo and I happen to like the fan. Voila! Problems solved.
Well, this is from the one that still hasn't put up curtains in the living room and has the white drywall look all over the upstairs. We've lived here five years. Shannon
Good luck! Looks like a lot to tackle, but it will look so great afterwards!
Looks like you have some work to do! I love the wreath on the door, it is very inviting!
That front door is stunning!
Good luck with everything!
Moving can be far less stressful if you are organised and prepared. I have just been through it myself. Goodluck! :)
