Thirteen Things I'm Looking Forward To After Giving Birth Pregnancy is a wonderful blessing. Giving birth is an experience like no other. I have enjoyed both . . . multiple times. I am ready to meet my little baby. I am ready to not be pregnant!
- Sleeping on my stomach.
- No more heartburn.
- Having a lap for my children to sit on while we read.
- Walking up stairs without becoming winded.
- No longer hearing myself complain about how uncomfortable I am.
- Tying my shoes without breaking out in a sweat.
- Seeing my feet.
- Hugging my husband real close - but not close enough to make another baby!
- Having a beer or margarita or both.
- Hearing out of my left ear again. (by the 7th month of each of my pregnancies I'm no longer able to hear out of my left ear, weird, I know)
- Going more than an hour without having to pee.
- Getting down on the floor to play.
- HOLDING AND LOVING ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL BUNDLE OF JOY!

Great list!! I never liked to sleep on my stomach until I got pregnant and couldn't!! Good luck with your delivery!!!
Thanks for stopping by my place.
Toni
Thanks for stopping by Small Reflections and leaving your comment and the link here. I love meeting new bloggers through T-13s! I’m wondering how close to delivery you might be and may do some clicking around after leaving this comment, but time is an issue for me this morning so I can't stay long. I’ll certainly return again to get better acquainted when time permits and I hope you’ll visit me at Small Reflections and Sacred Ruminations. The quote from 2nd Corinthians in your sidebar is one of my favorite Bible verses ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
I too was excited about many of the same things. Little did I know that if you breastfeed you still can't sleep on your stomach and drink (obviously). The winded part, well I don't know once our little guy put on a few pounds going up and down stairs all day made me a little winded. Like your list. Good luck!
Awesome list! After reading it, I can't wait for you to be able to hold another baby too! My #32 is up. Happy TT
Isn't it funny the things you never think about, but miss like crazy when you can't do them? :) I love, love, love having a new baby, but I despise being pregnant (but am VERY thankful that I am able). Hearing that sweet baby cry for the first time in the delivery room makes it aallllll worth it though, doesn't it?!
I hope you get to experience all 13 REALLY soon. Happy Friday!!
Brings back memories. When are you due? Soon you'll have relief from those things and a precious baby to hold!
