I had a great time at my first sewing class today. It's pretty cool to be able to create something from nothing. The list of things I'd like to make is long, and of course all of those things are going to need fabulous fabric.
I'm having the most fun looking at all the wonderful fabric out there. I found a great Etsy seller, FabricWorm. She has an incredible selection of fabric and is great to work with. Below are just a few of the great things she has in her shop.
Alexander Henry Tillbrook and Joel Dewberry, Aviary
Amy Butler Fabric, Daisy Chain

Oh, I love fabric too...I will be on the lookout for some of these, they are gorgeous!
I love the David Walker prints...what great accessories I could sew for my son's room! And of course I {heart} Amy Butler too.
I know it's mind boggling all the beautiful choices out there. ~ Robyn
i took a sewing class and loved it--those fabrics are beautiful
I've never learned to sew, but these gorgeous fabrics make me wish I had! Thanks for joining my blog party today. :-)
Love that fabric. Adore all of it. So much to do.
*drool* These are great looking fabrics! I'm off to check them out now! Thanks!
I'd love to find some awesome fabric with a coastal theme (nothing tacky, but subtle and somewhat modern)... and start a project or two, my headboard in the master bedroom for a starter. I'll try your sources...
Thank you, thank you! I've been looking for some good, new fabrics because I am already working on gifts for NEXT Christmas (I seem ahead, but I'll still be sewing on Christmas Eve...)
I also keep meaning to post photos of the superhero capes that I made for my kiddos for Christmas. I'm very proud of myself!
Those are such beautiful fabrics. How great that you're taking a sewing class.
You are making ME get excited about your sewing projects. Next thing you know, you're going to have an Etsy shop and ignoring your children to sew for... your children. :-)
LOVE it! Congrats on the class! THat's great!
Thanks for introducing me to these Etsy fabrics. I need to make some new pillows so I'll definitely search there for the fabric.
So fun that you went to a sewing class! That is definitely on my list of things to do, but I have to have this baby first, I think. Love that fabric too! :)
