I was inspired by this heart mobile at Pottery Barn Kids. I picked up Moda's Candy Kisses Charm Pack by Sandy Gervais for $6.00
Cut out heart shapes and sewed them together - wrong sides facing. My little helper, Meg, stuffed them for me.
I'm going to hang them from the light above the breakfast table, but I'm going to at least wait until February.
Lesson learned: don't use the pinking shears to make the initial cuts. Wait until the heart is sewn together and trim edges with pinking shears.

Oh those are cute! My daughters would probably use them as pillows for their little ponies and polly pockets!
Darling! I want to run out and get some Valentine fabric and do the same thing. Thanks for all of your wonderful ideas! You are such an inspiration!
those are adorable! I bet they will look very cute hanging over your table!
What a cute idea! I may have to borrow this idea from you, I have a chandelier in my dining room that could use some Valentine touches! Thank you for the inspiration.

Adorable! I can't wait to see a photo of the finished product hanging up (I'm hoping you'll post one). I really miss my sewing machine, but hopefully by this time next year I'll have more time to sew with an older child.
