Our walls haven't been painted and the wallpaper hasn't been taken down, but I had to get something up on the walls. It's amazing how much more lived in our house feels now with a few simple changes.
This is our foyer and the very first thing you see when you walk into the house. Add a mirror and . . .
My mother in law gave me this mirror for Christmas last year. I love it! I'm not sure what that inner circle is all about, must be the flash or something.
I know the pantry door is not technically a wall, but hanging a shelf does make a difference.
This is Kale's bedroom. He has this one little sad window right in the middle of his wall. My goal was to use a curtain to create the illusion of a larger window.
I didn't quite reach my goal - this window treatment is still a work in progress and could have a post of its own. It's just too short and should go all the way to the floor. I bought some more material so it will probably be my tackle for next week.
Disclosure statement: My sweet husband actually hung everything - I just encouraged him along the way!
Fantastic! It's amazing how a small change like that can make such a HUGE difference! Great tackle!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog!
I love curtains and mirrors they add life around the house and easily interchangeable too. :) It's also great to have someone to assist you with the tackle you are doing :). You must be a real good persuader. How do you persuade hubby? :P
ReplyDeleteGreat tackles! I love your son's room, the window treatment is looking good!
ReplyDeleteGreat tackles. The mirror is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love how the mirror just transforms the whole space. So cozy! And way to go for your husband!

Those are great tackles. That mirror seems like it was destined to be there. And I love the curtains! What a great illusion.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a great eye for things! That mirror is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteIt all looks great. That mirror completely changes the way the entry looks!! I agree on the longer curtains, I think that would make a huge difference.
ReplyDeleteAll very lovely. Nice job to both you and your hubby.
ReplyDeleteGREAT job! As andrea said, it's great when a small change makes a big difference!
ReplyDeleteNice Tackles! Love the mirror too! Happy TT
ReplyDeleteI have two of those closet door organizers on my pantry door - one on the top and one on the bottom. They are a great storage space. I'm snagging them from our current home and taking them to our new place.
