Dining Room/Family Room - We removed the wall between the kitchen and the original dining room and made it into a little family room.
Den/Dining Room - This room was originally a den. Over the last 5 years it has served many purposes, but now it is our dining room.
Basement - We remodeled the basement in the summer of 2005. We live in this space. The basement has a family room, playroom, guest room/office and laundry. Do you see a color scheme developing?

Bathroom - We remodeled the bathroom last summer. It is our only full bath so it was a bit challenging not having a bath for a couple weeks.
Stairway - The whole house was covered in this turquoise carpet. We opened up the staircase and ripped up all the carpet.
WOW....you have nice home now.
ReplyDeleteMine in here Thanks
Absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a whole new house! Very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work. I can appreciate home remodeling. We have gutted and remodeled two homes. So much work but totally worth it. Great TT. Thanks for visiting.
ReplyDeleteI love all of your before and after pictures. We have been renovating for 2-3 years. I'll be so glad when we are finally done.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting History Is Elementary.
I love before and afters -- and holy cow, these should be in a magazine. Are you busy right now? Would you like to come and tell me what to do with mine?
ReplyDeleteWow, that's quite a transformation! It looks great. I love the window seat!!
ReplyDeleteLots of changes there! Looks great!
ReplyDeleteLove, LOVE what you did with your basement! And I positively ache to redo my bathroom. I admire all your hard work here. (Thanks for visiting my TT)
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, Alana! You've done amazing things there! It's gorgous!!! And I love a good before and after shot- especially with some avacado green in the before! priceless!
ReplyDeleteHoly avacado! Did you do all this yourself? It is beautiful work. It seems like you just doubled your space in every room - - or at least made it feel like that.
ReplyDeleteDid you guys move into the house with everything that shade of green? I grew up with the avacado green fridge and appliances, gold carpet and nubbly ceiling so I was having parental home flashbacks at every turn.
What beautiful improvements! Love it!
ReplyDeleteSo, when I strike it rich, can I buy your interior decorating services? These changes are breath taking. And I think I've officially lost my appetite for avacados for the next few days.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by today.
Wow! You guys have done an amazing job. That's a lot of hard work!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous. One house can only handle so much avocado!!
ReplyDeleteYou have done an excellent job at remodeling. I was happy to read that you transferred the metal cabinets from the kitchen to another room--very resourceful! I personally would have kept them avocado green. I am the only person I know who actually likes this color, and not in an ironic way. I am looking forward to it making a comeback. (I am serious!)
ReplyDeleteWOW - beautiful job! Want to come and help me with my house? :)
ReplyDeleteWow. I NVU (envy you):o)
ReplyDeleteGreat remodel. Everything looks great. Thank you for sharing.
What a lovely job of decorating and remodeling you did. Good luck on the sale of your home.
