1 of 3 complete

This monogrammed canvas is going to one of my mother-in-law's friends' grandson. The only direction I was given was that his nursery was done in sage green.



I blanket stitched around the monogram for a little extra detail.



I made the sails for the sailboat out of wool felt and embroidered a little detail around the edges and on the stripes.



I sure hope she likes it. It's much different making things for other people. Every little bubble and seam becomes a huge issue. I just kept trying to remind myself that handmade, homemade stuff is extra special - even if it's not perfect!

You really should open a shop... many people put up samples like these pics and then let customers know they are made to order and to expect xx # of weeks. Love your blog - thanks for sharing.
